Rigorous focus on breath and form for the whole piece. Felt in strong control of a steady rate and pace exactly where I was aiming 🎯 — each time just a little faster than pace boat 🚤.

✅ Very happy with interval 5: average heart rate ❤️143 bpm at pace of 2:01.7 /500m 🤩

Final set afforded a series of really intentional and controlled rate and pace bumps 🧘🏻‍♂️😅😤. Intense high rate push for final 250m. This is a very manageable length for an all out exertion!

🤷🏻‍♂️ Heart rate readout was bizarre in interval 3. Jumped up to low fifties and bounced around while I was clearly not exerting much effort. Calling this a glitch.
