When I was had just graduated high school, I was in a serious car accident. About a month later, I was diagnosed with "Cerebellar Degeneration". A neurological condition in which my prognosis is supposed to get progressively worse overtime. In the past, I was unable to exercise like I wanted/needed to...I just couldn't break a good sweat. At that time, I started to withdraw from everything, & just stay home.
Back in 2017, a good friend did a short presentation on rowing. He said that rowing is one of the only exercises that you can get a full-body workout while sitting on your butt. At that very moment, a light bulb turned on in my head, & I thought to myself, "Hey, I can do that". My legs are getting stronger every week from rowing (both on-water & machine), Exercise is such an important part of my daily life. In a major way, it is my "physical therapy". An occupational therapist once said to me, "motion is lotion", & that we should always try to keep-on moving. - - - God is so good!!!
