strokes per minute with 5 min recovery between series.
REPEAT 5 TIMES. But I only did 4x2000m. I’ve got to start modifying the stroke rate. I kept it at rate 20 and it was not natural for me to produce 93-107 watts. I can do it, but not consistently, so I end up burning out and uneven pace.
But it raises an interesting point, which is that rate capped workouts are probably not a good idea for people of all heights. I’m 170cm so not extremely short, but I don’t have the drive length of a 190cm person.
