ARIEL TOY

This hard-core indoor rowing team formed in 2007 when the Reichart Family hoped to keep CAPT Bob sane during his year in Baghdad. The team name, Ariel Toy, orginates from their parent's sailboat, and under CAPT Bob's leadership in that spirit we translated our indoor meters into nautical miles across the Seven Seas, one January at a time! Since CAPT Bob retired from captaining Ariel Toy after the 2020 competition, our subsequent captains Harry Graves transported us into space in 2021 and Dennis Brescoll took us to rock and roll concerts in 2022 and to the movies in 2023. In 16 January Virtual Challenges up through 2022, Ariel Toy has traveled over 238 million meters and enjoyed spirited competition.
