Wilson Crew

Founded in 1985, Wilson Crew is the oldest high school rowing program in the District of Columbia and remains the only public school rowing program in DC. The team consists of over 100 student-athletes and fields four independent squads: Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, Freshman Boys and Freshman Girls. In addition, Wilson Crew runs Learn to Row programs for DCPS middle school students. The Tigers are part of the Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Rowing Association (WMIRA) and compete annually at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta and SRAA Nationals. Our program is supported by a dedicated parent organization that executes fundraising, equipment management and regatta logistics.
