When Covid restrictions terminated my local club rugby front-row days, I took to rowing on a device I cobbled together out of things in my ‘man cave’ - only having to buy rails and a sliding seat.

4 years later when I was 83 one of our lads presented me with a new Concept 2. I joined the website and have rowed it almost daily ever since. Now aged 85 and averaging over 4500 metres a day, I also enjoy the occasional WoD - all despite a couple of cancers and a myocardial blip or two.
