While training for the 2024 DEKA FIT ULTRA WORLD CUP, I was diagnosed with severe arthritis and a fractured femoral head and schedule for hip surgery. Doctor said no more hard lower body training, but Ski Erg and walking was OK!
So just before my surgery I got busy and broke the American Records for both Half and Full Marathon SkiErg Men’s 70-74. Also established a new World Record 100,000m Mens Individual 70-79, and also Mens Individual 24hr World Record with 201,452m.
Currently in the process of establishing some respectable times for all Ranked Distances on the Ski Erg and Erglathon.
